1. I recently moved and want to notify the Centrální depozitář cenných papírů, a.s. (CDCP) where my securities are held of such a change. Can I make such a notice through Fio banka?

The Securities Centre (SCP) was replaced on 7 July 2010 by Centrální depozitář cenných papírů, a.s. (CDCP). All accounts were transferred to CDCP. If you want to change your permanent address at CDCP (or any other personal data) though Fio banka, a.s., you must have concluded a Commission or Framework Contract with Fio banka and have an account with Fio banka (newly opened or transferred from unclassified records).

It is then possible to place a request to transfer service - enter a change in personal data in the Centrální depozitář cenných papírů, a.s..

2. Who is the owner of the account at CDCP? The securities trader (Fio banka) or myself, the stockholder?

The client / investor owns the account and the securities recorded at CDCP.

3. Can securities on the Burza cenných papírů Praha a. s. (PSE) be bought and then sold on RM-SYSTÉM, česká burza cenných papírů a.s. (RMS)?

Issued securities are registered in the CDCP the same for both RMS and the PSE (Czech issues including ČEZ, KB, Philip Morris, Unipetrol, Telefónica ČR, etc. + selected foreign issue such as Fortuna) so those purchased on RMS can be immediately sold on the PSE (thanks to T+0 settlement). Likewise, Czech issued securities purchased on the PSE can be sold on RMS at the earliest upon settlement of the purchase (at the earliest at time T+2).

Czech issued securities recorded in the CDCP for the PSE and in SE Fio banka for RM-SYSTÉM, Czech Stock Exchange (foreign issued securities including CETV, Erste Group Bank, Pegas Nonwovens, VIG, etc.) must first be transferred between the individual depositories (CDCP and SE Fio banka) in the international ClearStream depository on the basis of an order issued by a securities broker. This transfer does not take place online and id subject to fees pursuant to the Pricelist for basic services and the Annex to the Pricelist for basic services.

4. On my account at CDCP, I have stocks listed in unclassified records. How can I trade these stocks?

First a Commission or Framework Contract must be concluded with a securities broker (Fio banka, a.s.). Then a request must be given to this securities broker to transfer all these securities from an unclassified account in the CDCP under this to an account under this securities broker. The transfer from unclassified records in the case of Fio banka is free of charge. These securities can then be disposed of as desired.

WARNING:

The transfer of securities from a selected account in the unclassified records at CDCP is irreversible. This transfers all such securities in the given account in the unclassified records (including untradeable securities). CDCP charges a fee for managing securities. The current fee can be found in the Annex to the Pricelist for basic services under Point G. Securities that are in the unclassified records are not subject to this fee.
